First know yourself

From the beginning of rational thinking to contemporary times, human beings have tried to unravel questions such as who we are, who is our creator? What is our purpose? And what is the soul, body, and mind? Only a few have struggled to find answers to the complex philosophical questions. The rest of human beings have been occupied with fulfilling their base desire for appetite, sex, and wealth. A young person doesn't think about the impacts of their actions on their soul and personality. When we start to observe and understand life, we feel the effects of our actions and thoughts on the soul and consciousness. If someone believes there is no creator, he is ignorant. How is it possible for humans who see the effects of their wrongdoing on their physical and mental health and still do not believe in the existence of soul, spirit, and intellect? I think that to know complex philosophical questions about our existence, one must know oneself.

Does Gilgit-Baltistan really need elections?

The public votes and elects its representatives to form a government. Those elected by the people have been given authority and responsibility to address the problems and issues of the people. Gilgit-Baltistan is electing its representatives on June 7. The region does not enjoy constitutional rights and has been facing the worst human development. Elections are just a strategy employed by the federal government of Pakistan to control the region through federal ministers, bureaucrats, and the army.  The representatives of the people in Gilgit-Baltistan’s legislative assembly are helpless and lack power. Most of the developmental and security decisions are made and managed by the federal government of Pakistan. Those elected by the people lack the courage and authority to address people's demands and rights. Corruption, theft, and manipulation are widespread. Unemployment, low human development, lawlessness, and weak governance are the highest. The capital city, Gilgit, has no el...

"The holy War in the name of God"

The United States of America is declaring its war on Iran as a holy war. In doing so, it references the Bible and teachings of Jesus to justify the conflict as a battle against the enemies of Christ. Similarly, Israel cites the Torah and the teachings of Moses as justification for its own war against Iran. At the end of each tweet, the Prime Minister of Israel invokes God's protection and assistance. Iran is fighting against its greatest enemy, which it views as America, often referred to as the "Great Satan," with Israel seen as its ally. There is a significant riddle: all these countries associate their wars with God. Interestingly, they all follow Abrahamic religions and pray to the same God. Despite years of human evaluation, our barbaric nature has remained unchanged. With our irrational behavior and limited intellect, we have angered God. We are not fighting a war for Him; instead, we are waging a war for Satan. We possess the power to protect innocent lives, but ...

The global consequences of the American war on Iran.

The world is on the brink of another global conflict. On February 28, 2026, the United States and Israel targeted Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei at his residence in Tehran. This war has escalated to unprecedented levels. Ali Khamenei was not only the supreme leader of Iran but also an Islamic jurist for many Muslims, particularly Shia Muslims around the world. His assassination has triggered waves of violence globally. In Pakistan alone, more than 25 people have died in attacks on U.S. embassies, UN offices, and other related infrastructure.   Shia Muslims believe that their Twelfth Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi , is in occultation, which means he went into concealment by God's command in 260 A.H., and is alive, overseeing the world until he reappears to establish justice. In his absence, a Faqih carries out religious and political duties. A Faqih is a qualified Islamic jurist. The concept of Wilayat al-Faqih , or Guardianship of the Jurist, has emerged to facilitate the leadership ...

Is Iran an ungrateful nation?

Image
On December 2, 2025, I flew to Tehran, Iran, for a tourism trip with two friends. We took a five-hour flight from Islamabad to Tehran. Upon arriving at Tehran Airport, we exchanged some dollars for Iranian rials and took a taxi to the city center.  Imam Khomeini International Airport , Tehran At the Tehran Grand Bazaar , I experienced a different side of Iran. I learned that the country has been under the control of the Islamic clergy since the revolution in 1979 . The people of Iran have been compelled by the clergy to follow a strict Islamic code of conduct, which includes wearing veils in public, a ban on music in taxis and shops, restrictions on the sale and consumption of marijuana, and limited freedom of movement. Golestan Palace, Tehran, Iran I was informed that the clergy has hindered the economic, social, and cultural well-being of the people. Iran suffers from unpaved roads and inadequate infrastructure. Cleanliness is lacking, food is often unhygienic, and homelessness i...

Protest in the Sost Dry-port

Traders and people have been protesting for more than a month at the Sost dry port. On September 23, 2025, the Federal Government of Pakistan, the Gilgit-Baltistan government, and the traders' association agreed to end the protest, and it was decided to allow the people of Gilgit-Baltistan to trade up to 4 billion PKR with tax exemption. The agreement hasn't addressed structural challenges. This agreement opens the door for mega corruption, which has been widely practiced at the Sost Dry Port. It allows customs authorities and traders to manipulate tax exemptions. The people of GB demand two things: either they are integrated into the constitution of Pakistan as its fifth province, or there will be no tax on their business and income.  GB does not enjoy equal rights, and it is not a constitutional province of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It has been inaccurately associated with the Kashmir issues. Since 1947, GB has been governed by a primitive governance structure, where ...
