Right Education

Education provides the mental strength needed to improve our lives. It helps us understand complex concepts through various theories. However, the aim of education should not be solely to memorize theories in a particular subject; there must also be practical applications of the concepts and abstract ideas we learn. Practical skills, such as how to build a machine, cure an illness, and control inflation, are just as important as acquiring theoretical knowledge. The saying "rather than giving a person a fish, it is more sustainable to teach them how to fish" effectively highlights the importance of acquiring practical skills. Many students find themselves in uncertain situations when entering the job market or starting their careers. Even if they achieve high grades in their studies, they often lack the skills necessary for their professional growth. In the past, mathematics, biology, physics, and astronomy were taught through experimentation. Students who studied mathematics ...

Role of Governments

Our societies have become increasingly complex, and with each passing day, we face new and challenging issues. As a group of people, we have diverse likes, dislikes, and interests. Sometimes our priorities overlap with those of others, leading us to unintentionally benefit or harm their interests and the environment around us. To manage our affairs and safeguard our rights and priorities, we establish a government. It is the responsibility of our authorities to determine which issues require urgent attention. I believe that in order to ensure a sustainable future, we must prioritize our current challenges. If we focus all our resources and energy on addressing future intangible issues, we risk undermining both our present and future. For instance, if we provide education for all, we will have educated societies in the future. When we focus on our infrastructure, we will enhance connectivity in the future. Additionally, investing in research and development in science, technology, and e...

As government expands, liberty contracts

Human beings are inherently different, each possessing unique abilities and different self-interests. Our differences sometimes lead us to harm others, which is why we have come together to establish a government among ourselves. Government is responsible for mediating our differences and protecting our rights. When governments extend their arm to decide our wants, interests, and choices, they go against their mandate. Increasing taxes, surveillance, vague laws, and social media bans have created a Nanny state that excessively controls the private lives and personal choices of its citizens. Governments are passing laws that grant them unchecked power to infringe upon individual freedoms and rights. Acting like a nanny, they dictate people's identities and personal choices through nebulous legislation. A recent example is the bill introduced in the Legislative Assembly of Punjab, Pakistan, titled "The Punjab Control of Habitual Offenders and Anti-Social Behaviour," which w...

First know yourself

Since the dawn of rational thought, humans have sought to answer profound questions about our existence: Who are we? Who is our creator? What is our purpose? What constitutes the soul, body, and mind? While only a few have genuinely dedicated themselves to finding answers to these complex philosophical inquiries, many others focus primarily on fulfilling their basic desires for food, sex, and wealth.  Young people often do not consider how their actions impact their souls and personalities. However, as we begin to observe and understand life more deeply, we start to notice the effects of our actions and thoughts on our soul and consciousness. Surprisingly, some individuals who deny the existence of a creator remain unaware of the consequences of their wrongdoings on their physical and mental health.  To truly grapple with the intricate philosophical questions surrounding our existence, one must first strive to understand oneself.

Does Gilgit-Baltistan really need elections?

The public votes to elect representatives who will form a government. Those elected by the people are given the authority and responsibility to address their issues and concerns. Gilgit-Baltistan is set to elect its representatives on June 7. However, the region lacks constitutional rights and has been facing significant challenges in human development. Elections are often seen as a strategy used by the federal government of Pakistan to exercise control over the region through federal ministers, bureaucrats, and the military. The representatives elected by the people in the Gilgit-Baltistan legislative assembly are largely powerless. Most decisions regarding development and security are made and managed by the federal government of Pakistan. Those who are elected lack the courage and authority to advocate for the demands and rights of the people. Corruption, theft, and manipulation are widespread issues. Unemployment rates are high, human development is low, and lawlessness, along ...

"The holy War in the name of God"

The United States of America is declaring its war on Iran as a holy war. In doing so, it references the Bible and teachings of Jesus to justify the conflict as a battle against the enemies of Christ. Similarly, Israel cites the Torah and the teachings of Moses as justification for its own war against Iran. At the end of each tweet, the Prime Minister of Israel invokes God's protection and assistance. Iran is fighting against its greatest enemy, which it views as America, often referred to as the "Great Satan," with Israel seen as its ally. There is a significant riddle: all these countries associate their wars with God. Interestingly, they all follow Abrahamic religions and pray to the same God. Despite years of human evaluation, our barbaric nature has remained unchanged. With our irrational behavior and limited intellect, we have angered God. We are not fighting a war for Him; instead, we are waging a war for Satan. We possess the power to protect innocent lives, but ...

The global consequences of the American war on Iran.

The world is on the brink of another global conflict. On February 28, 2026, the United States and Israel targeted Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei at his residence in Tehran. This war has escalated to unprecedented levels. Khamenei was not only the supreme leader of Iran but also an Islamic jurist recognized by many, particularly Shia Muslims around the world. His assassination has triggered waves of violence globally. In Pakistan alone, more than 25 people have died in attacks on U.S. embassies, UN offices, and other related infrastructure. Shia Muslims believe that their Twelfth Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, is in occultation, meaning he went into concealment by God's command in 260 A.H. and is alive, overseeing the world until he reappears to establish justice. In his absence, a Faqih, or qualified Islamic jurist, carries out religious and political duties. The concept of Wilayat al-Faqih, or Guardianship of the Jurist, has emerged to facilitate the leadership of the Twelfth Imam ...
