Which place would you like to visit for a perfect vacation?
I met many travelers during my trips around the world. I heard them say they hadn't found the perfect place for vacation. Throughout history, humans have been trying to find the perfect place to live forever. They have discovered a new land, conquered oceans, and stepped on the moon. They haven't found a place where they can let go of their fears, inadequacies, and flaws. Why don't we find the place we've been looking for? Are the roads we are walking on wrong? We need to step back from our busy lives and dive deep into the mysteries of this universe. When we think beyond our material and worldly needs, we will find that the perfect place for vacation isn't possible in this world. There have been people in different cultures around the world who have tried to undergo spiritual transformations. They proclaim that they have found the perfect resort for tranquility and peace in supernatural things. They say that every place on this earth is perfect for a vacation. It may seem ridiculous; however, if you read and listen to people, you will realize that they are speaking the truth about the nature of this world. The wealthy, the poor, the leader, the masses, the preacher, the follower—everyone says one thing: this world is a mirage. You will not find a perfect place where you are free from psychological, social, spiritual, and worldly needs.
Where do I like to visit for a perfect vacation? Now, this is a difficult question for me to give a good answer to. Philosophers, prophets, scientists, and leaders have been trying to answer this question, but they have not found a satisfactory answer. I am just a student; how come I know the answer? The life I have lived so far has taught me different lessons. One of these lessons is the search for peace and tranquility. I thought that spending my money, time, and energy looking for new places worldwide would help me overcome my weaknesses and anxieties. I pursued this dream, traveled around the world, and met new and interesting people. I concluded that we cannot find a perfect vacation place if we don't learn to educate and teach our souls.
We can feel a kind of mental and spiritual peace when we are at home with our families. I believe that people living in this world and the generations that lived before us are like a family. They were born to a father and a mother. They are siblings. The father and mother of humanity were created by God, who has a place called the heavens, which he created for his creation. In heaven, we will be free of any need. We have tranquility and peace. We live with our families away from the noise of material, psychological, social, and world troubles. We will laugh together, eat together, dance together, and love each other.
This perfect place for a vacation isn't an easy one. Here in this world, we can go and spend time anywhere. All we need is money and information. Heaven isn't earned by money, influence, intellect, power, or prestige. There isn't any discrimination based on race, power, language, religion, or wealth. Heaven is for those who have faith and who will do righteous things in this world. Those who enjoy wealth and power in this world have to be accountable for their benefits. They have to answer God, and when they pass their tests, they will find a perfect vacation for eternity.
This world where we are living right now is facing a lot of challenges. Although we have achieved unprecedented advancements in all walks of life, we haven't learned to be a family that cares for one another. There are conflicts, bloodshed, wars, human trafficking, and atomic bomb threats all around us. We no longer have hope because of who we have become. We lose our human values. We don't want love, tolerance, respect, and care for each other. We made our world home to animosities, hatred, envy, jealousy, and revenge. In this world, I don't see a perfect place for vacation. I want to go to the Middle East, but I can't because I don't know when a rocket or a bullet will kill me. I want to go to Ukraine, but I can't because I might be killed. I want to go to South Asia; I see poverty, lawlessness, conflicts, and wars there. I want to go to America, Canada, China, and other developed countries, but I see those lacking moral values as humans.
Home is the only perfect place for vacation for me. Even in my city and country, I can't feel safe. My home is safe because I am with my loved ones. They never judge me, hate me, or kill me. They have unconditional love for me. They are aware of my flaws and weaknesses, but they choose to ignore them. In addition to liking me, they assist and encourage me. The dwelling place of God is a more exquisite place than mine. The home of God is eternal. It is full of bounties. It has everything we have in this world. It is a place for peace, tranquility, love, and safety. In this home, we never run out of food and water; we never have to face harsh weather; we never have to hate others; we never have to work to earn money to pay our bills; we don't see bloodshed; we don't have pollution; we don't have the sense of hate, jealousy, envy, corruption, and animosity for one another.
I want to visit a paradise for a perfect vacation. I don't see a place here in the world where I can visit and spend time, and call it a perfect place for vacations. Humans have become civilized; they have achieved advances in material well-being. In their pursuit of science and technology, they have forgotten love, tolerance, respect, cooperation, and unity. Humans have material benefits, and our standard of living has improved; they don't find peace of mind and heart anywhere in the world. As Martin Luther King, Jr. aptly said, "We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools."
