My activities on Tuesday 24th 2025

I woke up at 12:00 pm. I took breakfast, changed clothes, and left for work in Gilgit. Since Monday, I have had a routine of waking up late, which aligns with my work.

I first visited the Special Communication Office and requested that they expedite my application for a fiber internet connection. It has been a month since this thing has been hanging.


I visited the District Health Office and obtained some documents. I head to the Deputy Director of Education's office. I spent 3 hours there working on combining and cleaning data.

At around 5:00 pm, I came back home, and my mother was leaving for my village, Jalalabad. After night prayers, I went to meet friends. One of my friends had a feast at his home, honoring his parents' recent pilgrimage to Makah.

I was cooking a chicken karai when I got his call. I took my chicken karai at the feast, and some friends ate it too.

Coming back home, I got a call from my cousins. We met at a hotel near our homes. There, we discussed the current war between Iran and Israel. One of my older cousins was offended by my arguments. He does it when he feels he is right. Many times he is right, but sometimes he is not.

On Tuesday, 24th, I acted immorally, which is apparent and visible. I gave away project funds to a colleague’s wife and sister.

Protest in the Sost Dry-port

Traders and people have been protesting for more than a month at the Sost dry port. On September 23, 2025, the Federal Government of Pakistan, the Gilgit-Baltistan government, and the traders' association agreed to end the protest, and it was decided to allow the people of Gilgit-Baltistan to trade up to 4 billion PKR with tax exemption. The agreement hasn't addressed structural challenges. This agreement opens the door for mega corruption, which has been widely practiced at the Sost Dry Port. It allows customs authorities and traders to manipulate tax exemptions. The people of GB demand two things: either they are integrated into the constitution of Pakistan as its fifth province, or there will be no tax on their business and income.  GB does not enjoy equal rights, and it is not a constitutional province of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Socrates Ideal State

Socrates envisioned an ideal state with a perfect society. In his state, every human being is treated as a subject, and each has to be trained for a specific task. In this ideal state, the  learned and rational people are the philosopher king who guide and run the affairs of the state.
